Allyson's List
Tamora Pierce
This is an author that could probably show up on every single Top Ten Tuesday for me. Along with Kelley Armstrong, she is one of those authors that it doesn't matter what they do, I will be there, cash in hand, to support it! I will admit to not keeping up with her Circle series (It's hard to compete with the world of Tortall), but I still buy every book even knowing I probably won't read them. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________

A friend of mine just sent me the link to a Netgalley ARC of TLC's upcoming release Ten Things Sloane Hates About Tru. I don't really do Young Adult Contemporary romance, ever. But because I know TLC is such an amazing author, I am going to give it a shot! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________Kristin Cashore
Waiting for this author's next release is like torture! I believe the world of Graceling is finished with the third book, Bitterblue with came out back in 2012. I have been anxiously awaiting word on what Cashore plans to give us next, but it has been 3 years and no word. It doesn't even matter what direction she goes in next, I'm ready for it! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Leigh Bardugo
Shadow and Bone is one of those books that just absolutely blew me away. A few years back, I saw Leigh speak at a book festival in Austin. I'll admit, when she was talking about Shadow and Bone, I was really skeptical. It didn't sound like something I would read, as she made it sound more like a Russian Historical Fantasy novel, and I wasn't sold on that idea. But I bought the book, got it signed, and let it sit on my shelf for over a year. On a whim one day I picked it up and I was hooked. Her new series starts next month with Six of Crows and I cannot wait! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Alexandra Bracken
Brightly Woven by her was so amazing, whenever she announced Darkest Minds, I was a little upset by the prospect. At the time, I was not a fan of dystopian books at all. Too much 1984, The Giver and Ayn Rand in my childhood to really want to take the risk on something with the potential to be so devastating. And yet, I knew I would buy The Darkest Minds when it came out because Brightly Woven was just that good, and I loved her writing style. I am a huge fan of dystopia now, and The Darkest Minds was every bit as amazing as Brightly Woven. Her upcoming Passengers, scheduled for release in 2016 also sounds like something I would be sketchy about. But I know better than to discount anything this woman writes without giving it a shot! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Mariela's List
I love all of these authors, this list doesn't mean they are my top 5, but only the first 5 that came to my mind out of many great authors I have read.
