The Oath Forger Series by Nia Mars blitz with Xpresso Book Tours.

Oath Forger
Nia Mars
(Oath Forger #1)
Publication date: February 27th 2018
Genres: Adult, Romance, Science Fiction
I’m a scavenger. So what? With society’s collapse on Earth, I do what I have to for survival. Especially after I’m kidnapped by space pirates. I have no idea why the five most powerful rulers in the universe decide that I’m the Oath Forger, the one foretold to fuse their royal houses together and bring peace. But I’m going to play along. Because, hey, it’s better than probes in uncomfortable places. Now let’s just hope they don’t find out I’m lying.
The complete series:
EXCERPT:
“My Ava,” Tiam says, dreamily. “Yes, you will be mine tomorrow in Merim.”
“You mean you hope I’ll accept you?”
“Yes.”
Maybe part of being an Oath Forger is that I have to pick a husband from among The Five? Easy. I’ll pick whoever is willing to return me home.
I eye Tiam for potential. No harm in feeling him out just a little. “If I asked you a favor, to help me do something, would you?”
“I would give my life for you, my Ava,” he says without blinking.
He opens his mouth to say more, but suddenly the connection is severed, and I’m looking at a blank screen. I know I didn’t hang up on him, and I’m pretty sure he didn’t hang up on me.
The next second, Koah bursts through the door. His eyes are wild; he leaps for me and grabs me by the shoulders, searching my face. “What did he do? Are you all right?”
“Um, we talked?” I roll my eyes. “Chill.”
When I pull back, he lets me go with great reluctance. He asks through gritted teeth, “What did he tell you?”
“He wanted me to transport to his ship.”
Koah is nearly cross-eyed with outrage. He looks as if the top of his head is about to blow off.
“I said no.”
He is breathing heavily. “Thank you, Ava.” Then he calms, gathers himself, and his breathing evens. “What else did you tell him?”
“Not much. We only talked for five minutes.”
He looks as if he wants to grab me and wrap his arms around me, but he holds himself back. After another few seconds, seeing that I am all right, he calms down some more.
Then a speculative gleam comes into his eyes. “Were you in my bed when Tiam appeared on the display?”
Really? Seriously?
“No.”
Is that a disappointed grunt?
I can’t stop myself from saying, “If you’d like, the next time he calls, I can chat with him while sitting in the middle of the bed, naked.”
Koah looks so poleaxed, I regret teasing him.
“Ava.” His voice is hoarse. “You would take your clothes off for Tiam, but not for me?” He sounds as if his heart is bleeding.

Top Ten Tuesday : Books That Take Place In Another Country

Allyson will pass today from this list because she doesn't have any book in mind at the moment that the story takes place in other countries, so I will be the only one doing the list today.
And  most of the books that I read that take place in other countries are WW2 books. So most of my list will be all WW2 books.
Enjoy it.

There was no doubt that this will be the top of the list!

The Bronze Horseman books by Paullina Simons

I am obsessed with this series! There are so many emotions in this books you can't even handle them hahaha. I wish everyone would read them.

Wait For Me by Caroline Leech.
This book is about a German prisoner that was sent to Scotland to work in a farm , there he meets the farmer's daughter and of course the love story starts there. And I also love this book so much. I loved Paul!

The Soldier's Wife by Margaret Leroy
This story takes place in Guernsey, this one I did not quiet get the location very well hahaha. I think it is off the French costs but it belongs to the British. I never heard of it until I read this book.
Anyway Vivianne's husband is out fighting the bad guys, she stayed in the island living with their daughter and mother in law, and of course the nazis invaded the island and a few officers were to live next to Vivianne's house, so she meet Ghunter  , a German Soldier and she started a relationship with him.

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

This one was abvious it would make it to the list! I don't think it needs introduction!

In Farleigh Field by Rhys Bowen

This book surprised me! I really enjoyed it, a good book about spies during WW2 this one took place in England.

Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys...

This story took place between Lituania and Russia. It is so heart breaking.I remember one night that I was reading it , I made myself some hot chocolate with some cookies and I could not have any because I was feeling guilty that these poor people were freezing and hungry and I was so comfy on my couch with cookies and hot cocoa and a blanket. These poor people suffered so much.

Is it day or Night? by Fern Schumer Chapman
This story takes place between germany and the USA.
Is about a Jewish girl that was sent from Nazy Germany to live in the USA with family that she did not know. It tell you the true events of this little girls, you can look it up on youtube her story

Suit Francaise by NEMIROVSKY IRENE
This book I haven't read it YET but I am planing on it.  I did watch the movie and I fell in love with it, with Bruno! Such a great love story. Takes place in France, can't remember the name of the town that was invaded by the Nazis.
The author of this book was a Jewish woman living in France, I believe that she was writing this book when she got taken away to Auschwitz  concentration camp where she died. One of her daughters kept the manuscript of this book and a lot of years later she finished the work her mom started.

 Here is the movie trailer:

The Portal by Kiki Wellington blitz with Xpresso Book Tours.

The Portal
Kiki Wellington
(The Complete Series)
Publication date: February 4th 2018
Genres: Erotica, Romance
What would you do if the gateway to ecstasy was literally at your fingertips? Would you lock it up and throw away the key, denying yourself unbelievable carnal desires? Would you stick your toe inside the door, allowing yourself to sample these erotic experiences, but never completely indulging? Or would you barge through the portal to pleasure, leaving all of your inhibitions and dispositions behind in your wake?
This is the dilemma women face when they move into 28 Riverhill Road. Although they can’t explain the unseen sensuality that plagues the house, they also can’t resist its lure.
This collection contains the following erotic stories:
On the Other Side of Lust
Coralee never wanted to be a pastor’s wife…and she certainly never wanted the creepy house her husband inherited from his loyal flock. Yet there she was, alone in a passionless marriage, irritated by the constant demands of the church, and uncomfortable in her own life.
Then he showed up. Coralee wasn’t sure where he came from, but she did know he took her to otherworldly heights of sensuality she could never conjure up even in her wildest fantasies. Was he a ghost? A demon? Or the Devil himself? It didn’t make any difference…as far as Coralee was concerned, he was the very answer to her prayers.
Warning: On the Other Side of Lust (41,900 words) contains closet connections, lascivious lessons, paranormal pleasures, and amorous awakenings.
Through the Doorway of Desire
Although most people believe 28 Riverhill Road is the keeper of not-so-buried secrets they’d just as soon forget, for Clarissa, the old house represents an opportunity for a new life.
That is, until the macabre obsessions set in. When she’s not trying to unearth the mysteries of the house, she’s stoking the flames of a sexual obsession with a notorious serial killer that’s been dominating the news. And when these fixations collide, she’s introduced to a passion unlike anything she’s ever known. Clarissa may be enjoying herself now, but will her ecstasy ultimately lead to agony?
Warning: Through the Doorway of Desire (41,400 words) contains legal lust, seance chicanery, and convertible coitus.
The Entry to Ecstasy
Despite its dubious reputation, Charlotte falls in love with 28 Riverhill Road and believes buying the old house will bring excitement into her life—and help revitalize a relationship that has long gone stale.
And she does find the excitement she’s looking for when the peculiar house introduces her to an alternate life filled with the love and sexual intensity she’s been craving. As she straddles the edge of fantasy and reality, Charlotte eventually finds herself being forced to make an impossible choice.
Warning: The Entry to Ecstasy (25,700 words) contains sensual scents, mysterious missives, and a passionate parallel plane.

EXCERPT:
On the Other Side of Lust
It seemed that after a while, it became as tired of me teasing it as I had become of it teasing me. I felt movement on Joseph’s side of the bed, and I turned my head to see an indentation in the mattress. That was a first: I had felt it before, but I didn’t see that kind of visual evidence of its existence until that moment. It made my arousal spike to new heights.
Next, my hand was pushed away from my private parts, and a heavy weight rested on top of me. My arms were lifted over my head and felt like they were being pinned down against the bed. My legs were pried open wider and I felt a sharp sensation against my breast that seemed like teeth. I gasped with delight, trying to breathe, but the heavy weight on top of me made it difficult. I just watched in amazement as I felt my nipples being licked and bitten by an imaginary force. It was so real, I saw droplets of liquid forming around my nipples, sparkling in the morning sun.
Then it really happened. I couldn’t make out what was going on, but I felt a large sensation plunging inside my vagina. I was startled at first, then filled with pleasure and desire. I assumed it was my hunky man’s penis because it felt too big to be fingers. But then again, it had been so long since I’d felt anything like that downstairs, it was hard to know for sure.
It started pumping in and out of me. First it was slow and sensual, then it got faster by the moment. The bed shook underneath me. My body shook underneath him. I started to writhe my hips in sync with the motions, but the weight on top of me was too heavy for me to move freely. I felt the palms of my hands slowly being opened and strong fingers interlacing lovingly with mine.
A hot breath warmed up my neck. My body felt like it would explode all over. And then it became more intimate with me.
“Do you like that, Coralee?” I heard it whisper in my ear. I looked around, a little bit alarmed because I never heard it speak before. It had a deep, manly voice that was demanding and yet tender. I wasn’t sure what to make of it. I wanted to believe it was real, but on the other hand, I started to go back to thinking this was all just the product of my overactive imagination.
It made sure I didn’t think that way. He made sure that I knew he was real. “You’re not imagining me, Coralee,” it whispered. “I’m real, and I desperately want to make love to you.”

Author Bio:
Where does good sex begin?
Between the ears, of course!

EXCERPT:
Shit!
Gabe gave his inbox a final glance, logged off, and rose from his desk. He glanced out of the panoramic windows to his left as he shrugged into his suit jacket.
Dusk cast red and orange streaks across the sky above Tokyo, the light washing through the glass and painting amber shadows on the crisp white walls of his office. He looked at his watch, cursed under his breath, and grabbed his bag.
He was five minutes late.
Gabe’s gaze collided with a curious stare as he turned toward the door. A man with dark blond hair and blue eyes stood watching him, one shoulder propped against the frame.
“Got plans for the weekend?” he drawled, cocking an elegant eyebrow.
Gabe smiled, hoping his restlessness didn’t show.
“Yes, I do.”
Rhys Damon studied him for a moment longer before letting out a sigh.
“Ah, to be in love and shacked up.”
Gabe felt his ears grow warm at his boss’s teasing expression.
“I wouldn’t go as far as that,” he mumbled.
“I thought you’d moved in with him,” Rhys said, surprise flashing in his blue gaze. “What’s it been? Six months?”
“I did, and it’s been six and a half,” Gabe muttered.
Not that I’m counting.
He swallowed a groan at Rhys’s sudden sly grin.
“I just sent you the final plans for the Hudson resort,” Gabe said. “Let me know—”
Rhys!” someone suddenly barked from across the expanse of the open-plan office space outside.
They turned and stared at the hulking, dark-haired man standing in the doorway of a glass room on the opposite side of the floor. Wade Tucker—the other brain behind the incredibly successful, multi-award-winning Chicago-based design firm currently taking Tokyo by storm—scowled at Rhys.
Rhys grimaced.
“It seems the big bad wolf has awakened.” He glanced at Gabe. “Quick, run before he sinks his teeth into you too.”
Gabe hurried toward the elevator and glanced over his shoulder at the two men facing each other stiffly across the empty office. He doubted he was the only one who had noticed the increasing tension between the firm’s partners over the last year.
Best friends since their college days, Rhys Damon and Wade Tucker had followed in each other’s footsteps throughout their early careers, often as rivals bidding for the same contracts. They’d finally set up shop as Damon & Tucker. Twelve years on and their company was now among the top twenty in the business for luxury interior design, consulting, and branding, catering to some of the most exclusive resorts and hotel chains around the world, as well as affluent private clients.
All thoughts of his bosses’ woes fled Gabe’s mind when he exited the lift and entered the lobby of the glass-and-steel edifice that housed the Tokyo branch of the firm.
A man stood leaning against a navy-blue Jaguar saloon parked at the curb outside, hands tucked in the pockets of his tailored suit and powerful legs crossed at the ankles. He seemed oblivious to the stares he was drawing from the passersby and office workers leaving the building, his eyes focused on the foyer.
Although the car was a stunning piece of art and engineering, Gabe knew it was its dark-haired owner who had captured the avid interest of the men and women openly ogling him.
Gabe’s pulse jumped when he met the man’s gunmetal stare through the glass wall. He still couldn’t quite believe that he was going out with Cam Sorvino, the king of one-night stands. His gaze dropped from Cam’s stunning face and full lips, to his stubbled jaw and hard physique.
Nor can I believe I’ve had sex with that gorgeous body.
Heat warmed Gabe’s cheeks when he recalled the last time they’d shared a bed.
It had been over a week ago, a fact that had obviously frustrated Cam as he barely let Gabe sleep that night. His job as an asset manager for one of the biggest investment firms in Asia had taken him to Singapore for most of the last month and he only returned to Tokyo on the weekends, often late on Saturday afternoons.
Though Gabe loved nothing more than being in Cam’s arms, he knew the commute was taking its toll on his lover, which was why he’d asked Cam to fly back early this week.
Cam’s gaze grew heavy-lidded as Gabe crossed the sidewalk and approached the car. Gabe knew that if it wasn’t for the people around them, Cam would have pulled him into his embrace and kissed him senseless. Gabe stifled a sigh, somewhat grateful for their audience.
Once they started touching each other, there would be no stopping them. And Cam’s libido had turned voracious as of late, his appetite not even remotely quenched until they’d had at least four rounds of toe-curling sex and Gabe’s voice was hoarse from crying and moaning in pleasure.
“I’ve packed us a couple of overnight bags, like you instructed,” Cam said in a smoky voice that sent tingles down Gabe’s spine as he opened the passenger door of the Jag. “So, where are we headed, Mr. Anderson?”
Gabe slipped onto the cream leather seat and waited until Cam climbed in beside him before giving him the address of the place he’d booked them in for the weekend.
Cam raised an eyebrow.
“The beach?” His lips curved. “Does this mean I get to see you in swim trunks?”
Gabe’s pulse skittered at the passionate gleam in the gray eyes watching him.
“It’s a hot springs, so, no.”
Cam grinned.
“Even better. You’ll be naked.”
Gabe rolled his eyes as Cam started the engine and steered the Jag around.
Although the drive to the Izu Peninsula took over two hours, the time flew by while they chatted about their week, soft jazz music playing from the speakers as the vehicle ate away the miles.
Cam’s eyes widened when he drove into the paved courtyard of the traditional Japanese inn sitting on the small spur of land jutting out from the coastline, the headlights briefly illuminating the golden stretch of sand leading to the Pacific Ocean. He parked the car, his gaze lingering on the open vista before switching to Gabe.
“Nice.”
Gabe smiled, a flutter of excitement sending his pulse racing at the night he’d planned for them.
“I’m glad you like it.”
They collected their bags from the trunk and headed for the entrance.
Cam hesitated when they reached the porch, his hand on the handle of the front door.
“You didn’t design this one too, did you?”
Gabe blinked. His ears grew hot as he suddenly recollected the exclusive Tokyo hotel where they’d first made love a year ago. It was where he’d also rather splendidly lost his cherry to the magnificent man beside him. Gabe’s cock twitched as he thought of that night. Though sex with Cam always blew his mind, their first time together was incredibly precious to Gabe.
It was Cam who had finally helped him overcome the trauma of his past, when he’d nearly been raped by five men who’d paid his then boyfriend to tape their vile acts on camera, leaving him unable to sleep with anyone for over eight years despite regularly seeing a therapist. The gentle yet passionate way Cam had made love to him that time, how Cam had engraved his touch and scent on Gabe’s body until he utterly and completely lost himself in the act, how he’d brought Gabe to one earth-shattering climax after another—all of it were priceless memories Gabe would take to his grave. Not that he would ever admit this to Cam.
Gabe chuckled at his lover’s guarded expression.
“No, I didn’t design this place.”
Relief flashed across Cam’s face.
“Good. I’d seriously feel as if I were committing blasphemy otherwise.” Cam sniffed. “Not that sex with you isn’t the most unholy, wicked thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. I mean, there’s some stuff we’ve done that I—”
“Shut up, Cam!” Gabe hissed, clamping a hand over Cam’s mouth as a hostess headed across the foyer toward them.
Cam grinned and licked Gabe’s palm. Gabe swallowed a groan at the tingle that shot through him.
This erotic asshole.

EXCERPT:
Jake pulled out the dagger he always carried with them and crouched down to slice open the ropes that had caught the Fae and banged her against the side of the ship hard enough to knock her out. He had no idea why someone this powerful – and he could tell power from the way her skin was shimmering even when she was unconscious – would have let herself get close enough to the ship to get captured in the nets, but none of that mattered. What mattered was that she was going to wake up furious any minute now and nobody wanted an angry Fae within shouting distance. Especially not on anything as fragile as this ship. There was steel, certainly, and steel still had power over the Fae. But wood and vinyl and other materials had been used to fabricate this ship, and nobody would want to be around to see what a powerful Fae could do to a ship—or her crew—when she was furious.
Especially not Jake.
“She doesn’t have a tail, see? Not a mermaid,” he repeated as he kept cutting, hoping none of them would ask about the translucent scales that covered her legs and most of her body.
“I don’t think so, Surf Boy,” an almost comically squeaky voice said. That is, you might think it was comical until you looked up and saw the mountain of a man speaking. Bangles, so called because of his tendency to wear dozens of gold and silver bracelets, was only a few inches shy of seven feet tall and sometimes, like when he was looming over Jake right at this minute, seemed to be almost as wide. The first mate was too big, too ugly, and too mean for anybody ever to make fun of his voice.
Jake had heard that the last person who did so was currently decorating the inside of a shark’s belly, and he’d been in pieces before the shark got to him.
“She’s a mermaid, and she’s ours,” Bangles yelled, playing to the crowd surrounding him. “We caught her, so we keep her. Finders keepers.”
“Still not a mermaid,” Jake said, sighing.
BOOM.
Jake struggled to keep his balance when the blow struck his side of the ship. The Kraken was not kidding around.

Jess was so lost in thought about Reece the superstar she forgot the man was in the room, and that she’d imagined he was staring at her. Which was perhaps why she nearly dropped her glass when she felt a tall, solid form move behind her and heard a man say, “Interesting.”
Smooth voice. Deep, silky. A voice she recognized. She’d heard it on the big screen and the small one, since she had copies of every movie he’d starred in—seven from his childhood years, eight from his adult ones. Was he really talking to her?
“Yes, it is,” she murmured, all calm and collected, like she was not shaking in her consignment store shoes.
“Possibly one of the artist’s earlier efforts.”
Hmm. How had he known? “Yes,” Miss Conversational Genius repeated.
“I’m not interrupting, am I?”
The hint of confidence in the tone told her he knew the answer. Had any woman ever told him to go away because he was bothering her? Huh. Doubtful. “Not at all.”
“Good. What is it called?”
“What we’re doing? I think it’s a conversation.” Jess didn’t know where the snarky response came from, or where she’d gotten the nerve to be all quippy with the guy, but there you go. That was her, always a mouth-off away from catastrophe.
“I meant the sculpture,” he said. No laugh. No humor. Crap.
Realizing they were actually going to have a conversation, and knowing it might require face-to-face interaction, she wondered if she was ready for it. Hesitating, she licked her lips and replied, “It’s called Naked Man.”
“Subtle.”
Knowing it was rude not to face him, she took a deep breath and glanced over her shoulder. Lord have mercy.
Deep breaths might be calming in normal situations—like when one was confronted by a repo man repossessing a car. Been there, done that. But they didn’t work at all when looking into the clear amber eyes of a man every woman on the planet fantasized about. His looks made you silently gawk while you tried to figure out why the arrangement of cheek and jaw, mouth and eyes, was so arresting and unforgettable. She interacted with scruffy, shaggy-haired surf-bum types in the bar where she worked, so she’d almost forgotten how appealing a conservative haircut and a smoothly shaven face could be. Not to mention the sexiness of a perfectly tailored power suit, the charcoal color interrupted only by a splash of red in the necktie.
She finally cleared her throat and pushed a few words out. “It is from very early in the artist’s career. How did you know?”
“She draped the sex organs, as if she wasn’t quite ready to go there.”
Jess nodded, wondering if she was truly talking about men’s packages with the sexiest freaking man alive. Was this really happening, or was she hallucinating? Had that stupid bartender slipped GHB in her drink? Damn, if she woke up tomorrow with no memory of what happened, and then found videos of herself on YouTube, she would rip him a new one.

Captive
Jenny Lynn
Publication date: March 13th 2018
Genres: Adult, Romance, Suspense
In the city of sin, who will be saved?
Beckett Carter is the last of his family; the head of Carter Enterprises and a reclusive billionaire living in a luxurious Las Vegas penthouse. Since his parents murder his obsession with justice has steadily grown stronger, leading him to become the masked vigilante known to criminals as the Phantom. When he’s not out playing the part of a filthy rich playboy he trains his body hard, and in his disguise he brings the criminal underworld to its knees.
Crime reporter Ella James keeps everyone at arm’s length, throwing herself into her work and her quest to find out what happened to her missing sister. She doesn’t let anyone get close enough to her to see how damaged she really is and afraid to trust anyone fully, she has never let a man touch her. While going undercover she puts her life in danger and discovers the secret identity of the Phantom as he ruthlessly eliminates a room full of criminals. This one night sets off a chain of events neither of them expected.
Faced with the threat of being exposed, Beckett is left with only one choice. He takes Ella captive, keeping her in a secret room until he can complete his mission. In Ella, Beckett finds an opponent unlike any he’s met before – she’s smart, resourceful, and worst of all, innocent. The untouched woman locked away in his penthouse is the greatest temptation he has ever faced.
A tense rivalry between the two grows into something so much more than either could have imagined. When Beckett gives in and shows Ella how dark he can be, can she succeed and show him the light?
EXCERPT:
Ella was blunt. I folded my hands in front of me, watching her. She was shrewd, this reporter, trying to paint me into a corner with her words. Of course, I know the police are on the payroll for local criminals, but I can’t admit that. I can’t admit half the things I really know.
“I’m afraid I don’t agree with you. Crime is like a virus, it’s a constant struggle. Our police service is helping to heal this city from the inside out.”
A brief laugh pushed past her lips and she quickly composed herself, knowing that was an inappropriate reaction. Why did that stir something in me? The desire to lift her chin and stare into her eyes, to correct her simple act of imprudence, was overwhelming. The dark side of me wanted to teach her a lesson.
“Did I say something funny?” I demanded, my eyes burning into her.
“I’m sorry Mr. Carter,” she sat a bit straighter. “I didn’t mean any disrespect. It’s just that I follow the crime beat very closely, and I have my personal doubts about the effectiveness of our police. I mean, they can’t even catch a rogue man who is attacking criminals on his own. What kind of a city lets someone get away with that, acting outside the law?”
“You’re not a fan of the masked vigilante I take it?” I kept my face calm and unreadable. If only she knew who was sitting across the desk from her.
She shook her head. “It sets a bad precedent. It tells people that if they wear a disguise, they can be outside the law. That man, the Phantom as they call him, is going to get hurt eventually, or killed.”
I leaned forward, taking a closer look at this gorgeous creature in front of me. She had my full attention, this mouthy reporter. She squirmed under my gaze, self-conscious. There was a faint purple ring around her eye, partially hidden under a veil of makeup but not hidden well enough. “Who did that to you Ella?”
She shifted in her seat, looking down. “It’s nothing,” she mumbled. “Back to your article, I just need a quick photo and I’ll be out of your way. Is your office okay? Maybe by the window?”
She wasn’t going to tell me what happened, and I wasn’t going to press her on it. I nodded and stood up, smoothing my tie, then waited beside the floor to ceiling window of my corner office. The view of the skyline was just past me. Ella retrieved a camera from her bag and walked closer to me, I watched her move. She was a bit timid, yet comfortable in her body. Suddenly her foot caught the edge of my rug and she gasped as she fell forward.
In an instant I stepped towards her and caught her, holding her upright in my arms. My reflexes have always been impeccable, it’s how I do what I do. It’s how I avoid fists and knives. Her hands were flat against my chest and I noticed the subtle hitch in her breath when she looked into my eyes. For a moment we stayed as we were, our faces inches apart.
Ella looked away, a flush on her cheeks, then regained her composure. “I’m sorry Mr. Carter, I’m clumsy today. I’ll just get that quick picture.”
