Review: Collecting the Pieces by L.A. Fiore

Collecting the Pieces by L.A. Fiore
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

At fifteen I fell in love. His name was Jake Stephens and he took the abandoned, lonely girl I had been and made me whole. His love was a pure and unconditional love that made every day better than the last…a fairy tale of my very own.

But this story isn’t about Jake. It’s about Abel Madden; the man I meet after the fairy tale goes to hell. A cocky, arrogant man who says what he wants, does as he pleases, and makes no excuses for it. He irritates me—downright pisses me off at times—but he also brings me back to life.

My name is Sidney Ellis and this is my story of finding love twice—the first when I needed it most and the second when I never saw it coming.

My Thoughts:
I saw the cover of this book in a cover reveal I did on my blog and I loved it! Look at the guy on the cover, he is f*cking hot! And I wanted to read so bad that I had to get the book.
Sidney was an orphan , never had the affection of a family until she met Jake and his family, they loved her, she finally found in them the family and love she needed but then tragedy happens and 3 years after that is when Abel comes in, whom hasn't had a happy childhood either. These two were meant to be together to learn to love and have happy ending that they both deserved.
Abel was a little bit rough , I am not into rough guys in the books, but he was perfect! I loved that he had his signature word in every sentence he said , F*ck, hahaha I love the change we see in him towards the end of the book, love conquers everything! Even a beast like Abel that refused to love! the book was good!
There was just one thing that I did not like and it was the whole story with Abel's dad and Belinda, I believe it was just there to make the book bigger, I could have made it through the book just knowing that his dad did not want anything to do with him. I did not think that was necessary.
