Faking It with Damian by DJ Hunnam

Faking It with Damian
DJ Hunnam
Publication date: January 23rd 2017
Genres: Contemporary, Erotica, Romance
I don’t do relationships… especially not with egotistical jerks like my new boss, Damian Wood. The man is vile, arrogant, condescending… and scorching hot. If he weren’t my boss and a grade-A a*&hole, I would turn on my world-famous charm and seduce the pants right off the man. But giving in to his undeniable allure might just cost me my job. Or worse yet, my heart.
I’m a prick…and Janice Holder’s new boss. Which means I should stay away, but I’ve never claimed to be a nice guy. If I don’t get my twisted fascination under control, it will only be a matter of time before I bend her over my desk and screw her. Hard. The way I’ve imagined no fewer than a thousand times since we met. I’m playing with fire and neither of us can afford to get burned, but landing in hot water might just be worth the risk.
Faking It is a full-length, standalone office romance. It contains steamy scenes with a ton of heat and strong language intended for mature audiences.

Author Bio:
First introduced to the genre by her grandmother, DJ Hunnam is an author with a true love for great romance novels. After reading hundreds of them over the last twenty years, she finally decided to put pen to paper and craft her own happily ever afters (HEA). She loves to write about strong heroines who fall in love with even sexier heroes, while tackling real-world problems. Her books are packed with sizzling scenes sure to make you blush.
A scientist by day and author by night, DJ Hunnam straddles the fence between the mundane and the erotic on a daily basis. When she isn’t writing, you might find her curled up with a book, chasing her two wild sons, or pursuing her own HEA with her husband of ten years. She’s a sucker for dark chocolate, a good bottle of Malbec, and a sexy six-pack.

Excerpt:

I heard the water shut off and a few minutes later Janice peeked out, wrapped in a terrycloth robe. She had scrubbed her face clean and was one of the lucky females who looked even better makeup-free. She avoided looking my direction as she tinkered with items in her carry-on.
"I'm starving." My voice came out huskier than I'd intended. The double entendre had been unintentional and I gave Janice a half-smile when she pierced me with a no-nonsense look. I cleared my throat. "Do you want something from room service?"
"Yeah, I could eat."
"Good. Order whatever you'd like and get me a burger with fries, please."
I strode to the bathroom with my bag and drink. After gulping down my cocktail, I hopped into the hot shower. I fisted my cock and stroked it several times.
I needed a release. Bad. But for some reason, the idea of masturbating while Janice was in the other room seemed more than just a little depressing, so I turned the handle and settled for a long, cold shower.
After drying off, I pulled on a pair of sweats and strolled out. Janice sat at the small table, about to take a bite when she saw me. Her fork stalled midair as her gaze trailed down my half-naked body and back up again. She blushed pink as I sauntered closer.
"Maybe you should put the rest of your clothes on." She shoved the bite of salad into her mouth.
"What's wrong? Can't handle my impressive form?"
"Oh, I can handle it. What I can't handle is the fact that we're supposed to be keeping this professional and here you stand in just your underwear and a pair of sweatpants."
"Nope. Just sweatpants." I laughed when she nearly dropped her fork. "You're welcome to take your shirt off too."
The rise and fall of her chest accelerated as I drew closer. She set her fork down and glared, her emerald eyes flashing. After closing her eyes for several seconds and taking a few deep breaths, she forced a smile.
"I wasn't sure what kind of hamburger you wanted so I ordered the cheeseburger," she said, changing the subject.
"It looks great." I dropped into the chair opposite her. She was doing her best to look everywhere but at my chest, which I found hilarious. I scarfed the cheeseburger down in half a dozen bites and laughed at the awed expression on her face.
"Jesus. No wonder you're so…" Her voice trailed off and she waggled her fingers at me.
"Big?"
"You should lay off the steroids. They aren't good for you," she said with a saucy flip of her hair.
"Oh, it's all natural, baby." She giggled and the sound went straight between my legs. "What about you? How do you stay so thin?"
"Cass and I run on the weekends and I teach Zumba several nights a week."
"Oh, God," I groaned, unable to hide my horror.
She gave me a dirty look and shook her fork at me. "Don't knock it. It's a great workout. You should try it sometime."
"As much as I'd like to see you shake that fine ass, the probability of you ever seeing me in your Zumba class is next to nil."
