Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read For The First Time In 2016

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Since Allyson hasn't read that much in 2016 and she hasn't read any new author for her, she is doing a list of  books she would like to read from authors she has never read before.

These are my new authors I read in 2016

About this book... I had to stop reading it because I was geting bored with it. I was dying to read it and I felt disappointed, but someone in the blog mentioned that the book is slow but then gets better. And I am really excited again to pick it up and finish it. It will be soon.

felt the same. I was bored and did not like it. But something inside me tells me to pick it up and finish it!  and I will!

  1. The only book on your list I'm familiar with is A Darker Shade of Magic but I'm definitely interested in the others you mentioned. I'm going to be checking them out on Goodreads.
Thanks for stopping by my Top 10 post

  3. I truly love A Darker Shade of Magic but I agree it is a little slow and I had to be in the right reading mood to pick it up. If you do give it a second chance I do hope you enjoy it - or if not then I hope you pick up another Schwab book (Vicious is my go-to recommendation for everybody) :)

  4. I read Vicarious and thought it was pretty good. I'd been wanting to try Paula Stokes for a while and I finally got to with that book. :)

  7. Great list! I'm planning to read A Darker Shade of Magic soon, I hadn't heard about it being slow before, but I'll keep that in mind now.
