Definitely Iris, just because she was based upon me. She’s a red-headed attorney who hates her job, is insecure, messy and doesn’t have it all together at all. She throws her clothes on her bed instead of hanging them up, and loses her keys all the time. She spaces out at work sometimes, instead of preparing for a trial. She always felt rejected in life, and was never the popular girl. But her heart is always in the right place, and she’s very non-judgmental and not in the least bit malicious. I imagined all my worst traits, and all my best ones, and put them onto her. Then I paired her with a delectable, wealthy, but very sweet, rich guy - basically my biggest fantasy. So, in that way, I was able to get my fantasy guy - by basically writing about me in the role of the insecure Iris getting the unattainable guy.
